The Salvation Army runs ”Port Homes” for the most vulnerable people

The current situation regarding the spread of coronavirus affects the elderly, who are the most vulnerable group. We in the Salvation Army take care in the “Domovy Přístav“ – ”Port Homes” of the most vulnerable people - seniors, who have lost their own homes.

The Salvation Army is interested in the fate of homeless people in senior age and offers them help of our social workers, medical staff etc. Our interest is in a user who has a place where he can stay, has a place where he feels safe and stood, is not hungry, receives medical care and can meet his family our friends.

We currently operate four of those “homes” in the following cities: Ostrava - Kunčičky, Ostrava - Zukalova, Šumperk and Frýdek-Místek.

If you are interested in this issue, you can support our “Domovy Přístav” here.
