Edenred supports restaurants that still provide lunches

Edenred, the world’s largest provider of prepaid employee benefits, performed a number of activities last month, to help their customers and restaurants cope with the current difficult situation.

Edenred supported restaurants that have not suspended their operation and keep cooking lunches which they offer through dispensing windows right in the street. 600 out of almost 20,000 partner restaurants of Edenred are running currently. Edenred has sent 5 protective masks made of certified materials to each of these restaurants’ staff. Last week, Bageteria Boulevard in Karlín was the first one to receive masks from Edenred.

At the same time, a special search engine was launched at www.edenred.cz to help customers find their way to these 600 operating restaurants.

Edenred also decided to temporarily increase the transaction limit for payments made with luncheon vouchers (both the voucher card and the paper vouchers), from the current 500 Czk to 2,000 Czk a day. This is Edenred’s response to our customers’ wishes to restrict their frequency of shopping while they often work from home these days.

Last but not least, Edenred offers employees and employers a brief overview of luncheon voucher claims for employees who are in quarantine, nurse a family member or are forced to home office.

We hope to leave these tough times soon behind and wish you all a successful return back to normal working life.
