On Wednesday, 1 August, a charitable flea market “Husí kusy” was held on náměstí Míru in Prague center, organized by Nadace Divoké husy (NCCC member) and Rozmarýna o.p.s. We collected hundreds of used And new clothes, small jewels, handbags, shoes, books and utensils from our supporters and wider public. The event was supported by our benefactors Michaela Dolinová and Ondřej Kepka and by other open-minded and warm-hearted public personalities such as Štěpánka Duchková, Petra Špindlerová, Dana Homolová,Marcela Březinová, Veronika Kubařová, Lenka Kohoutová, Kateřina Jechová, Jan Tuna, Jiří Zbořil, Michal Jagelka, Zbyněk Drda and Aleš Cibulka. All of them became for this moment experienced sales assistents and earned great revenue.
One of the most expensive items were a newish sewing machine, an English tea set and an artistic cigarette case.
The visitors could refresh themselves with French crépes, and with soft and hot drinks during this hot summer day. There was live music and kids’ corner Ententýky.
The total profit of the event was 45,532 CZK!!! Divoké husy would like to thank employees of Ahold (particularly Ms. Judita Urbánková and Renata Chloupková) for organizing a charitable collection in Ahold. Our great thanks belongs also to the NCCC for its support of this charitable flea market.
