Recruitment Academy Awards 2025: Discover the Best HR Marketing Projects of the Year

26 June 2025

The Recruitment Academy has announced the winners of its prestigious competition, Recruitment Academy Awards, recognizing Czech and Slovak companies for their exceptional achievements in HR marketing, employer branding, and recruitment over the past year. The coveted title of Recruiter of the Year was awarded to Adéla Janouchová from RENOMIA. The celebratory gala took place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Jatka78 theatre in Prague.

This year’s competition saw participation from over 70 companies, who submitted more than 100 projects across nine categories. “One thing became clear– artificial intelligence is no longer just a concept of the future. It’s already reshaping the recruitment landscape in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We’ve seen, for instance, companies launching career sites that offer personalized job suggestions based on a candidate’s resume. And that’s only the beginning of AI’s potential,” noted José Kadlec, founder of the Recruitment Academy Awards.

The winners were decided by an independent jury made up of leading HR experts from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Among the jurors were Blake Wittman from the recruitment agency GoodCall, Vladimír Klescht, organizer of the EVOLVE! Summit, and Michaela Sekaninová, Head of People at Easy Software.

For the fourth time, Edenred Czech Republic became the competition’s general partner and also sponsored the Edenred Wellbeing Award category.

“Wellbeing has long been a key focus for us at Edenred, so we're pleased to see that companies don’t treat it just as an empty buzzword. On the contrary, many take a comprehensive and respectful approach to supporting employees’ physical health, mental wellbeing, and individual needs. In addition to mental health support and flexibility, we’re increasingly seeing smart benefits aimed at prevention – from health screenings and fitness programs to education. This year’s gala also highlighted how strongly AI influences HR. Modern HR today is a blend of technology, creativity, and genuine care for people,” said Aneta Martišková, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director at Edenred.

Another key partner of the competition was the University of New York in Prague, which supported the Recruiter of the Year category and awarded the winner a grand prize – an MBA program worth CZK 410,000. “Careers and job opportunities are not just a destination for our students—they are part of the educational journey itself. RA Awards brings together the innovators and leaders who shape hiring in this region, and we are proud to support and celebrate that excellence,” said Clark Steele, Marketing Director of UNYP.

Established in 2015, the Recruitment Academy Awards have spent the past decade inspiring, educating, and showcasing the most outstanding projects in HR marketing, employer branding, and recruitment. Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, the Awards have seen more than 1,000 projects submitted since their inception, reflecting the ongoing innovation and progress within the Czech and Slovak HR communities.
