Michael Mullen (47) is the CEE Legal Leader. He is an experienced lawyer with more than 20 years of practice not only in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also in the USA, Russia, Turkey, Hungary and Romania. He specializes in M&A, Private Equity/Venture Capital, Real Estate Law, Legal audits and Legal Due Diligence investigations, Labour Law, Data Protection and IP/IT Law. Michael is a member of the Czech, Illinois and New York Bar Associations and has over 15 years of legal experience in CEE.
Michael has advised major Czech and international companies and private equity funds on acquisitions and divestitures and on the purchase and sale of companies, real estate and assets, and provided advice on the financing of these transactions. Prior to joining PwC, he was an equity partner at the largest Czech and Slovak law firm, and he worked for more than 7 years with leading international law firms, such as Altheimer & Gray and White & Case. Michael is married with three children. He spends his spare time with his family, mostly cycling and drinking wine.
