Pavla Hladká joined the Mazars international advisory company in the Czech Republic on 1 September 2011 in the position of the Director of the Forensic Services Department for the Central and Eastern European region. She will be responsible for the development of Mazars’ forensic services within the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other countries in the Central European region. She will also contribute to the preparation and implementation of an integrated strategy and consultation in the area of forensic services within Mazars’ international group.
She is primarily oriented on fraud and financial misconduct investigations, the prevention of fraud, fraud risk management, dispute resolution services, support in bankruptcy proceedings, background searches and forensic and data analyses. In her position she will be able to draw on more than 13 years of experience in providing consulting services to public and private sector clients in the Czech Republic and abroad. Her experience up until now is represented by 8 years working in the Prague branch of Mazars in the Department of Audit Services and 5 years of forensic practice acquired in the forensic teams of KPMG and Deloitte.

After eight years of performing and leading audits I decided to expand my expertise and working experience in another area where I would be able to utilise my existing knowledge. To achieve this goal I will be using all my experience and expertise, the professional and human potential of the forensic experts in my team and also Mazars’ years of extensive experience with providing forensic services in Great Britain,” explained Pavla Hladká, the Director of Mazars’ Forensics Department.
Pavla Hladká has an economics degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava and holds MBA and LL.M. diplomas from Nottingham Trent University. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and the Vice-President of the Czech Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She is a Certified Governance, Risk, Compliance Professional (CGRCP), Certified Internal Control Management Professional (CICMP) and Certified Sarbanes-Oxley Professional (CSOXP). She speaks fluent English.
