Like us, the people in the Salvation Army Asylum House are subject to lockdown in the current situation. Some of them even lost their permanent or temporary jobs. And also in the current situation, they need at least one hot meal a day.
Many clients are in a high-risk group – whether in terms of age or poor health – so we try to make sure they need to leave the Asylum House as little as possible.
In cooperation with the Endowment Fund Agora 7, the Salvation Army launched a collection for lunches for homeless people in the Asylum House ‘CSS Bohuslav Bures’.
Agora 7 decided to finance the first 10 days.
