For the second time, ING Bank organized a charity badminton tournament for ING Bank‘s employees and their families. Also, the NCCC employees were happy to join the event to support ING in their praiseworthy activities. The tournament was held on Wednesday 9 March 2016. The aim of the event wasn‘t to compare the sport performance of players but to support a good thing!
In the framework of the charity badminton tournament was collected the voluntary fee. All of the proceeds went to the Tereza Maxová Foundation. Not only players, but also spectators and fans, who came to the tournament, contributed into the Tereza Maxová Foundation a total amount of 5,000 CZK.
ING Bank is well aware of its corporate social responsibility and globally initiated the project “Chances for Children.“ This project was launched in 2005 with the help of UNICEF. Its aim is to give children access to education as well as improving the quality of education in the local communities in which ING businesses are active. With relation to this project, ING Bank in the Czech Republic has decided to cooperate with the Tereza Maxová Children's Foundation, which ideally complements its strategy – support for education, sport, and free-time activities. The cooperation is also unique because of its allocation process. The grant committee consists both of the Foundation and ING Bank representatives.
The mission of the Fund is: To make a positive difference in the lives of children growing up in children’s homes or in foster care.
This year, ING Bank has celebrated 11 years of cooperation with the Tereza Maxová Foundation. We believe that our cooperation with the Foundation will continue and conjure smiles on faces to many people!
