We are happy to announce that our member Huisman Manufacturing has completed the production of energy storage equipment - a control system, a drive unit and two winches, which together will carry a weight of 50 tons.
The equipment is for Gravitricity Ltd and has already arrived at its destination to be installed in Leigh, Scotland in the coming weeks.
In July 2020 Huisman Manufacturing started the production of lifting equipment, that will serve as a prototype of an innovative gravity electricity storage system.
This system can be installed, for example, in both operational and former mining works. The 250 kW system demonstrator is manufactured for the British start-up company Gravitricity Ltd.
