Herrish Patel (43), recently Vice President of Customer Development, Unilever Australia and New Zealand based in Sydney, has been appointed Managing Director for Unilever Czech and Slovak business as from 1st July, 2016.
Mr. Patel joined Unilever in 2001 and has nearly 16 years of professional experience in fast moving consumer goods market. Within his first years at Unilever he gained the experience as a Customer Director being responsible for customers such as Somerfield, Iceland and Wal-Mart in the UK. Between 2007 and 2009 he was responsible for managing the international customer agenda for Carrefour, Casino, ASW, Dairy Farm & Metro across all Asia markets as Modern Trade Customer Development Director in Unilever Asia, Singapore.
Between 2009 and 2012, Herrish Patel became Vice President of Modern Trade for the markets of Asia, Africa, Central & Eastern Europe AAC with the headquarters in Singapore. Currently Mr. Patel held the post of Vice President of Customer Development of Unilever ANZ in Sydney.
As Managing Director Unilever CR/SR, Herrish Patel will be responsible for managing the business in both countries. Previous Director of Unilever CR/SR, Florin Trandafirescu was appointed as a Managing Director of Unilever for Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Moldova, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro starting on 1st July 2016.
Herrish Patel is British nationality and graduated at University in Cardiff. He is married and has got two daughters.
