And where is the actual support for the charity
? You can purchase the entry fee with The Salvation Army. Price is the same as when you purchase at the race organizers (PIM), but the difference is that if you purchase it with The Salvation Army, then half of the fee will stay with our organization and will help people in need. And if you wish to contribute even more, we really will not object. The Salvation Army provides daily assistance to the most needy people in nine cities in the Czech Republic. In our shelters and community centers we provide help to mothers with children, unorganized children and youth, men, women and also the elderly. Proceeds from the entry fees will go to fund refurbishment of the night shelter for women in Prague. The capacity is 28 persons. All women find themselves in difficult life situation and need our help. To provide better services for these women, we would like to purchase new beds, mattresses, a washing machine and a dryer (total CZK 65,000).Thank you for joining us!
