On July 2, the charity fund MA-MA Foundation continued to fulfil wishes in its national project “Make a wish” (PLŇME PŘÁNÍ). In this project, everyone aged 2-99 who is in a difficult situation can make a wish for any real experience they like and we will make their wish come true.
Anna B., a 87 years old lady from the city of Jablonec nad Nisou, does not like the sound of the aircraft engines and would never enter into any plane. In her childhood, she experienced bombing of the city of Prague during World War II, and afterwards the Russian aircrafts flew to Prague airport during the Russian invasion which started on August 21, 1968.
Her great desire was to see our beautiful country from the sky. The charity fund arranged a hot-air balloon flight for her. The balloon soared over the Czech Paradise, so Anna could see the castle of Trosky and a nice sunset. It was a great emotional experience for her.
Adam is a 12 years old boy from Ústí nad Labem with sad fate. He loves football and is a goalkeeper of FK Jiskra Velké Březno. He wanted to meet his football idol – the captain of Sparta and Czech football representatives, David Lafata. Thanks to our charity fund, he could train with this great star at the football stadium of Sparta in Prague and even have lunch with him later on.
In September, Honzík, a 22 years old boy from Liberec who suffers from the cerebral polio, will have a ride in a rally car of JC Motorsport. We believe that it will be a really big experience for him.
The charity fund is also organizing an exhibition called GET TO KNOW WILLÍKS / POZNEJTE WILLÍKY for the civic association Willík. This exhibition will take place at the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic in Prague, for example. The purpose of the exhibition is to raise awareness about the Williams syndrome.
