Boris Halata, Tomáš Kroupa and Lenka Velehradská appointed as Senior Managers at KPMG

As Senior Manager in the Management Consulting department, Boris Halata focuses on advisory services for the public sector, in particular central public administration bodies. He has been working for KPMG Czech Republic since 2007. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague in 2000, and in 2012 completed the Master of Public Administration (MPA) programme at the CEVRO Institute. In 2000–2007 he worked at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, where, among other things, he was in charge of supporting business and competitiveness. He is married and has two children. He enjoys travelling, taking photographs, cooking and sports.
As Senior Manager in the Tax department,Tomáš Kroupa concentrates on corporate tax and investment incentives. His clients primarily include manufacturing companies. He focuses mainly on Japanese, Korean and Chinese investors in the Czech Republic. He joined KPMG Czech Republic in 2002. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague (majoring in Commercial Law and minoring in Accounting and Financial Management). During his studies he spent some time at a university in Rotterdam, and in 2013 he interned at KPMG in Shanghai. He is a member of the Chamber of Tax Advisers of the Czech Republic. He is married and has two children. He devotes his spare time to his family as well as to travelling and sports (in particular cycling, skiing and fitness).
In her capacity as Senior Manager in the Audit department,Lenka Velehradská specialises mainly in rail transport, the public sector, construction, and foundations and non-profit organisations. Recently, she also started focusing on Czech-owned companies and start-ups. She has been working at KPMG Czech Republic since 2004. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Liberec in 2004. During her studies, she interned in an audit firm in Lisbon. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She likes to travel while putting to use her proficiency in several world languages. In her free time, she enjoys visiting concerts by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, ballet performances and plays at the National Theatre.
