for the auction that will take place in support of Ukrainian people and business during the benefit evening „30 years of European solidarity“ on Tuesday 10 May 2022

(hereinafter referred to as the "contract partner")
Donor
A donor is any person or legal entity that has participated succesfully with the winning bid for one or more of the items that have been put up for auction in support of the benefit evening for Ukrainian people and business, organised by the contract partner on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022.
(hereinafter referred to as the "donor").

By opting to participate in the auction, you automatically agree to these terms and conditions. If you have problems with any of the clauses listed below, please do not participate in the auction.
The auction
The frst phase of the auction will take place online and will end on 10 May at 12:00 hours. Via dedicated webpages - https://nlchamber.cz/auctions - a donor can bid on one or more items.
The second phase of the auction will take place in physical form in the Dutch auction format on Tuesday 10 may 2022. At a Dutch Auction, prices start high and are dropped successively until a bidder accepts the going price. Once a price is accepted, the auction ends. The starting price of the bidding in the Dutch auction will be the highest bid that has been placed online for an item. The auctioneer will gradually drop the price until it reaches a price that one of the bidders accepts. The accepted bid will be added to the highest bid that was placed in the first phase, during the online auction. Please note that the auctioneer may decide to deviate from the auction format at his discretion. 
Bids and winning bid
Please note that your participation in the auction is on your own free will. You do not have the right to withdraw a bid after the first phase of the auction has been closed on Tuesday 10 May, at 12:00 hours.
A winning bid is the combination of the highest bids for an item after both phases of the auction process have been completed. If no bidder accepts the price during phase 2, the Dutch Auction, the highest bid that was done during phase 1 (the online auction) will be the winning bid.
Donation
Any donation will be subject to the provisions as stipulated in § 2055 et seq. Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.

The financial donation is provided by the donor to the contract partner voluntarily.
Payment and charity partner
Under these terms & conditions, the donor transfers a financial amount equivalent to his winning bid for an auction item to the contract partner against an invoice issued by the contract partner the day after concluding the auction. The contract partner will, in turn, transfer this amount in one lump sum of all winning bids to the charitable support of the non-profit organization People in Need and specifically to their SOS Ukraine Fund.
The contract partner will also organise the handover of the acquired item without delay upon payment by the donor.
Final provisions
Please note that the Netherlands-Czech Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the auction pages at https://nlchamber.cz/auctions

Participating in the auction does not provide license to participate in the event and have access to the event venue on the evening of 10 May. Only a valid ticket will provide such license. Tickets are CZK 500 + VAT and can be purchased here: https://form.simpleshop.cz/jEox/
Kindly note that https://form.simpleshop.cz/jEox/ powered by SimpleShop, is the sole authorised source for purchasing the benefit evening tickets. If you obtain your ticket(s) from any other unauthorised source, you take on the risks of those tickets turning out to be counterfeit or reported to be stolen. The contract partner has the right to dishonour such stolen/counterfeit tickets and declare them as void.

If the auction and/or event is cancelled in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, the Netherlands-Czech Chamber of Commerce has the sole and absolute right to:
i) reschedule the auction/event, or
ii) issue a partial/full refund, or
iii) not issue any refunds
Please note that the decision of the contract partner in such cases will be deemed final and binding.


Please note that the auctioneer may decide to deviate from the auction format at his discretion.
