Law Student - Glatzová & Co.
Are you a law student, in your third or higher year and wondering where to start your career and learn law from a practical perspective? Let us know about you!
We are a Czech-Slovak law firm with a wide range of practice areas - we specialize in acquisitions, insolvency and restructuring, energy, banking, capital markets, as well as litigation and corporate law and other legal areas.
However, we are not isolated in any teams. We collaborate on cases across the firm and you will get to try different areas of law, giving you the opportunity to find out what you want to do more of and what you don't enjoy. Students aren't just a number and you'll get to do real legal work, which is regularly done by our associates.
And because we cherish talent, we strive to create an optimal environment for your further growth - you can count on detailed individual feedback and the opportunity to always turn to more senior and experienced colleagues. In addition to this, we will also provide you with access to the latest know-how and training, not least at regular Petr ÄŚech seminars.
You can also look forward to a number of benefits, both standard ones such as a multisport card or refreshments in the office, as well as many others such as regular company events (mountains, teambuilding, dinners), a chill-out zone with a football, occasional home-office and more.
We care about your growth and understand your study obligations, so time off during exams or working hours adapted to your studies are a matter of course. The remuneration varies depending on the year of your studies (150-200 CZK/hour). However, as long as our cooperation works, these are not non-negotiable amounts.
AND WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Above all, a willingness to learn from us (and with us) and to constantly improve. While previous experience will be an advantage for you, it is definitely not a requirement, we are happy to teach you everything ourselves.
As mentioned above, we are flexible with our hours, but we see it as ideal if you are in the office with us at least 2-3 days a week. Which ones, specifically, we're happy to leave up to you.
Although we are a Czech-Slovak office, our business is also based on an international element, so the ability to express yourself adequately in Czech as well as in English is a prerequisite. Another language is not a prerequisite, but we would love to hear German.
