Charity Culinary Class
Thanks to the professional Italian Executive Sous Chef of Hilton Prague Old Town, Valerio Bussandri, the participants of another charity culinary class could enjoy a delicious Saturday lunch. The timing was just perfect as it was raining after a couple of sunny days.
We spent 3 hours in the amazing kitchen of the hotel, the chef guided us on how to make polenta with forest mushrooms in a parmesan basket and taleggio, home-made tagliatelle with asparagus ragout and parmesan flakes, delicious veal cheek stew with risotto and steam vegetables and a dish unusual for Czechs – poached octopus with pickled pepper and Savora sauce. The lunch was finished with a sweet treat - warm Sabayon with cookies and berries. All of the participants enjoyed the lunch with a glass of wine at the Zinc Restaurant, and received a Master Class Certificate, the recipes of the prepared dishes, and also a gift bag.
The full entrance fee was donated to our member - the Wild Geese Foundation, and the handover of the check for 15,000 CZK took place at the Hilton Prague Old Town during the charity auction „Husí Kusy 3“ on the 16th of April.
