Run for charity „Run from prejudices!“ 

Do you like running and helping others? Now you can do both. By participating in the Yellow Ribbon Run you can help former prisoners in their return back to active life, return to work, solution of their overall social and living conditions and increasing their self-sufficiency.

The Yellow Ribbon Run project helps to break down prejudices and points to the issue of employment of former prisoners. The event is organized with the help of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, the Business Leaders Forum platform, which associates socially responsible firms, and RunCzech, the organizer of the most prestigious run in the Czech Republic – the Volkswagen Prague Marathon.

The Yellow Ribbon Project aims to promote a more accepting society, one that is willing to give ex-offenders a second chance at making good. The concept of the project has three main goals:

  • to create Awareness of giving second chances to ex-offenders
  • to generate Acceptance of ex-offenders and their families into the community
  • to inspire Community Action to support the rehabilitation and reintegration of ex-offenders

The Yellow Ribbon Run will take part within the Sportisimo 1/2Marathon in April 2017, Volkswagen Prague Marathon in May 2017 and the Relay 4 x 5 in June 2017.

By registering for this event, I CONSENT to the taking of my pictures and/or audio-visual recordings at events organized by the NCCC, including pictures and/or audio-visual recordings taken/shot and edited by an outside professional photographer, and the processing thereof, in particular to the publishing of these pictures and/or audio-visual recordings in the NCCC’s promotional documents, newsletters, presentations, websites and social media (such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) for marketing purposes.

By registering for this event, I CONSENT to paying a no-show fee in the amount of the ticket fee, with a minimum of 400,- CZK excl. VAT per event, also for events that are free of charge.
This no-show fee only applies in case I do not inform the NCCC at least 48 hours before the start of the event that:
- I will not attend, or
- I have nominated another person to attend in my place and I have provided the NCCC with his/her name and contact email address.
