Together with a number of members of the NCCC Traders by Nature, we were proud to have witnessed the Grand Opening of Wood Hub, the new production facility of our esteemed member, Ahrend, which took place on 26 September 2024.
The facility was oficially opened by Ahrend's CEO Rolf Verspuij, Director of the Board Joost Van Meerbeeck, and General Manager Petr Hampl, accompanied by HE Mr. Daan Huisinga, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in front of a large gathering of partners, architects, customers and employees. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests toured this new state-of-the-art factory to admire the highly-advanced production processes that demonstrate Ahrend’s dedication to innovation, quality, and craftsmanship.
The Wood Hub production facility represents an innovative and fully automated production concept for wood-based office furniture and interior design elements with an emphasis on sustainability and respect for the environment. It is one of five Ahrend factories around the world, and we believe that it will play a key role in promoting the sustainable development of the industry, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. And it's the only production facility we have seen so far, which is decorated with world-famous paintings!

For free events, a no-show fee of 400,- CZK excl. VAT will be charged for non-attendance in case of no prior notification to the NCCC at least 48 hours before the start of the event. For paid events, a no-show fee equivalent to 40% of the ticket price will be charged for non-attendance without prior notification to the NCCC at least 48 hours before the start of the event. Exceptions to the no-show fee policy apply if I inform the NCCC at least 48 hours before the event start time that:
I will not be able to attend, or I have nominated another person to attend in my place, providing their name and contact email address to the NCCC.
