Bolt is best known in the Czech Republic for rides, but the platform companies can now draw on is considerably broader. Over the past months we have added services that address the everyday logistics of running a business — getting something across the city in an hour, moving a group of colleagues or guests between venues, and feeding a team without collecting a pile of individual receipts. Here is what is new, and what is coming in October.
1. Bolt Send: same-day parcel delivery, without the shipping label
Bolt Send is our on-demand delivery service, ordered in the Bolt app in the same way as a ride. You enter the recipient's address, see the price and estimated delivery time before confirming, hand the parcel to the driver at the kerb, and track it in real time until it arrives. The recipient does not need the app.
For companies, the practical points are these:
• Speed — documents, samples, keys, spare parts or last-minute orders delivered within the city, typically within the hour
• No paperwork — no shipping labels, nodrop-off points and no waiting for a scheduled pickup window
• Capacity — parcels up to 15 kg and a maximum size of 65 × 55 × 40 cm
• Coverage — live in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, Liberec, České Budějovice, Zlín and Chomutov

2. Corporate bus and shuttle services in Prague — from October
From October, Bolt will offer bus and shuttle services for companies in Prague. This is aimed squarely at situations a standard car cannot solve well: moving delegates between a conference venue and a hotel, running a shuttle for a company offsite or team event, transporting a group to and from the airport, or providing transport for staff on shift patterns.
Bookings are handled through Bolt for Business, so group transport appears on the same account and the same monthly invoice as the rest of a company's ground travel — rather than as a separate supplier relationship to negotiate and reconcile.
3. Bolt Food for companies, on one invoice — from November
Also from November, companies will be able to use Bolt Food through their Bolt for Business account, with orders consolidated onto a single company invoice.
This removes the most tedious part of feeding a team: office lunches, catering for client meetings, food for people working late, and refreshments at internal events can be ordered by the employees who need them, within the limits the company sets, and settled centrally. No personal cards, no expense claims, no reimbursement queue at the end of the month.
What this means for Chamber members
The common thread is administrative rather than only commercial. A company with a Bolt for Business account manages rides, group transport, deliveries and catering through one platform, with spending rules by team, budget, time and location; automatic reporting for finance; and a single monthly invoice instead of dozens of individual reimbursement claims. For finance and office management teams, the saving is usually measured in hours rather than only in czech crowns.
