Barbara Pella: Did you know that I am a book?

In April, Barbara Pella, Founder of AMA WEAR, will be contributing to the “Living Library” by OPIM, an interactive format designed to foster dialogue, inclusion, and deeper understanding in professional environments.

At KBC Group in Brno, Barbara will share her personal experience as foreigner dealing with a breast cancer journey in Prague, along with insights into how this illness inspired her to found AMA WEAR, an initiative focused on inclusive fashion for individuals with one breast.

The Living Library enables organizations to engage with real-life perspectives through open, guided conversations. Participants are encouraged to ask questions they might not otherwise have the opportunity to explore, helping to build empathy, challenge assumptions, and strengthen inclusive workplace cultures.

A wide range of “books” is available through OPIM, covering topics such as gender identity, parenthood, migration, and lived health experiences. Andrea Weinbergerová supports organizations in selecting and coordinating suitable speakers.

If this is an interesting format also for your company, Andrea will be happy to provide you with more information: andreaw@opim.cz, +420 777 877 850.

Barbara is available for bookings through OPIM together with other books, or independently for talks and interactive sessions: barbara.pella@ama-wear.com,  +420 774 262 180.

Wishing you an inspiring and energizing Springtime! 🌷
