Již pátý ročník mezinárodního dne firemního dobrovolnictví Give & Gain proběhne v pátek 15. května. Tisíce dobrovolníků ze stovek firem jde v tento den pomáhat veřejně prospěšným organizacím po celém světě. Je to šance i pro vás se k této úspěšné akci připojit.

Give & Gain Day je oslavou síly a potenciálu firemního dobrovolnictví. Tím, že se nebývalé množství lidí zúčastní dobrovolnických aktivit v jeden den, podporujeme talent, schopnosti a energii, nalezené v byznysu a zároveň podporujeme roli, kterou můžou firemní dobrovolníci hrát při podpoře a prosperitě své komunity. Spojujeme dohromady podniky a místní organizace a vytváříme jedinečnou příležitost ke komunitnímu rozhovoru. Je to potenciál k pochopení problémů, se kterými se organizace potýkají a jak jim firmy můžou být nápomocny.
Za čtyři roky se Give & Gain Day v České republice zúčastnilo již 2 250 dobrovolníků, kteří odvedli 18.000 hodin práce pro neziskový sektor v hodnotě minimálně 2.840.000,- Kč.
Give & Gain Day 2014 byl dalším rekordním rokem. Po celém světě pomáhalo více dobrovolníků než kdy jindy.
V České republice Give & Gain Day organizuje platforma Byznys pro společnost, která je národním partnerem Business in the Community - iniciátora Give & Gain Day na mezinárodní úrovni.
Na tento den připravuje Byznys pro společnost desítky dobrovolnických akcí ve všech regionech naší republiky. Stovky zaměstnanců z českých firem pomáhají v různých veřejně prospěšných organizacích, ať už je to pomoc manuální či odborná.

By getting unprecedented numbers of people out volunteering across the globe, we’re championing the talent, skill and energy found in business and the role it can play in helping communities prosper. In four years, during the Give & Gain Day in the Czech Republic have participated 2 250 volunteers who have done 18.000 hours of work for the nonprofit sector worth at least 2,840,000, - CZK.
Give & Gain Day 2014 was another record breaking year, with more volunteers than ever taking part across the globe. You can read all about the day in our Impact Report, but here are just a few of the highlights:
26,278 employees were out on one day, a 19% increase in volunteer numbers from 2013,
Give & Gain Day activity happened in 32 countries,
Volunteers supported approximately 860 community organisations across the globe.
In the Czech Republic, Give & Gain Day is organized by Business for Society, which is a national partner of Business in the Community - Give & Gain Day initiator at the international level.
On this day Business for Society prepares a lots of volunteer events in all regions of our country. Hundreds of employees from the Czech companies will help in various charitable organizations, manually or with professional assistance.
