Leading automotive dealer conclusively confirmed its rightful position among the top three major car dealers in the country. In 2016 the group sold the total of 14 069 new and used cars, which compared to 2015 represents increase of almost a fifth (18%).
Over the past 12 months the Auto Palace dealer network sold a total of 11 243 new and 2 826 used cars in the Czech Republic, that represents an increase of 18 % in comparison with 2015. In detail the group increased the sales of new cars by 16% and by 26% in used cars in 2016. Auto Palace Group also grew last year more dynamically than the whole automotive market in the Czech Republic, which recently reported a 12.5% increase in sales.
The largest share of new cars sold last year was represented by Ford, which the dealer network sold 5 698 pieces. Second place went to Skoda with a total of 1 897 units followed by Hyundai brand with 1 782 sold cars.
No.1 within the used cars became Hyundai with 653 units sold, followed by Skoda (488 units) and Ford (308 units).

"Our last year´s turnover will very likely exceed the magic threshold of 5 billion CZK, but we have to wait for the the final results of the group and Czech Republic to confirm it*," added Mr. Howie.
