Internship - Sustainability & Beyond - Impact Hub
In the innovation team, we decided to open the door to proactive university students who, before graduating, are looking for practical experience in an environment where topics such as sustainability, social responsibility, circularity or the climate crisis resonate. We want to design the internships as as practical as possible, you will look under the fingers of the program managers of our acceleration programs, a colleague who manages the finances of the programs or our COO. We expect a new wind and ideas from the trainees. And who knows, with mutual satisfaction, your destroying story doesn't have to end with one internship 🙂
What will you learn during the internship?
Your main mentor will be Lenka, who is the leader of the Sustainability team (we call them Laby). You will help her and other members lead their projects - you will sniff out topics such as the future of food, sustainable agriculture or systemic change in excluded regions. If these topics and working with communities are your heartbeat - you are our man.
You will take on some tasks in the field of administration (surprise, surprise, reporting, accounting and "papers" simply belong to each project), scouting projects (= their active search or help with data completion in the CRM system) or event organization (these can be workshops, online project presentations, etc.). You will also help us with the organization within the Lab - from writing meeting minutes, through arranging meetings to "cleaning" the folders on GDrive. The preparation of searches on assigned topics is also waiting for you - probably from the thematic block of sustainability - or translations from / into English.
We imagine that the intern will be a lot of "hands on" - we will be happy to share with you what such a mushroom control of acceleration programs looks like, what a problem we solve - you will be a valid member of our team.
Are you the one we're looking for?
We ideally imagine university students (but this is not a condition) with a proactive approach and a desire to learn a lot with practical experience.
We appreciate analytical thinking, above-average diligence and independence.
What we like about candidates in general: self-reflection ability and good argumentation skills - we will be interested in your motivation to do an internship with us, what you would like to learn from us, how you will use the gained experience - we just like common sense.
You will need good communication skills - both in Czech and English, technical knowledge - the basis is MS Office, GSuite, Trello, Slack.
And above all, insight and humor - to fit in with us 🙂
What will you find with us?
The internship is unpaid - that's why you will find here in particular: experience, experience and once again experience: from the world of startups, acceleration programs and socially responsible business - unique in the Czech environment.
Friendly and human corporate culture, support from a great team of professionals from whom you can learn a lot.
Time-flexible internship with the arrival of ASAP (we can adapt to your schedule).
Workload about 10-20 hours a week for 3-6 months (if it makes sense on both sides, we will be happy to establish long-term cooperation with you).
Possibility to participate free of charge in all events and workshops within acceleration programs (topics such as time management, HCD, Lean Canvas, mastermind groups, etc.).
Free use of workspaces in the network of Czech Impact Hubs (Prague, Brno, Ostrava) for work on your own projects.
