
Internship: Supply Chain Management - Philips

Duration: 6 months
Location: Best, Noord - Brabant
Contract: Full-time (40h/week)
This internship is not suitable for thesis.
In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better
Learn from working closely together with the team, and also Procurement Engineers from the business unit and Supplier Account Managers and many suppliers of Factory Best.
You are responsible for
- Gathering relevant information on problems, identifying gaps, and proposing corrective actions
- Prepare for and support in the Daily Management operating rhythms of the organization and the weekly KPI report outs
- Support on material inflow activities
- Support on inventory monitoring activities
- Support on material processes in the factory
You are a part of
The Operational Material Management (OMM) team of Factory Best, within Philips Health Systems. This team consists of Operational Buyers, Supplier Performance Managers and End-Of-Life Analysts.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- Currently studying towards your University Master in Sciences WO (Msc.) or Bachelor Degree and will be enrolled as a student for the whole internship period
- Well-developed communication and collaboration skills (team player)
- Proactive attitude, able to work independently
- Willingness to further develop analytical and intellectual capabilities
- Fluent in oral and written English

- Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €900 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
- Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
- Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net
- Paid holidays per internship term.
