The 4th year of this nationwide project will be held in May and its main aim is to get more people in the cities regularly using bicycle for their way to work and from work and subsequently help the urban environment.
The competition is opened to every employed man and woman who is willing to bike to work in May as often as possible. The only requirement is to find at least one colleague to form a bike-team with and register into the competition at http://www.dopracenakole.net/registrace/. The registration fee is 180 CZK and every registered participant will receive a special bio/fair-trade T-shirt with the Bike to work design.
Bike to work is also a good choice for companies which want to do something for their employees (cheep team-building), for their publicity (support of the CSR strategy), for the environment (less cars in the streets, less noise and pollution) and save money for parking, engine and sick employees (regular movement reduces morbidity).
